We've all heard of Saks Fifth Avenue, am I right? It's the department store of fashion heaven, notorious in movies, tabloids and even songs. However, I have a new favorite department store. Saks, I'm sorry to say that I'm kicking you to the curb. I'm now in love with Barneys New York. I'd never ventured onto their website before and I'm sorry forthis very fact. If you love clothes and you've got a bigger budget, check out their website: www.barneys.com It's divine, trust. :) Because I'm a high school student with no job, however, I find it hard to afford any of their apparel. No worries, though. Window shopping satisfies my hunger for fashion momentarily. To the left is a look I created on Polyvore using items from Barneys & TopShop, another one of my favorite stores. How cute, oh my goodness. I adore the coexistence of masculinity and femininity in this piece. It's harsh and scruffy, very indicative of a man's wardrobe, yet delicate, marked by the thin, diamond studded bangles, the adorable purse and the golden cross earrings. Ironically enough, I think the booties add an equal mix of both effeminate traces and masculine ones as well. Oh, I cannot wait for the day to come that I am an adult. Sometimes I feel as if high school is so trivial, as if the 'problems' people complain about are trivial, and that I am miles ahead experience-wise and when it comes to maturity. It sounds a touch hubris and conceited as I'm reading it over, but it's the truth. I'm ready for college, I'm ready to work, I'm ready to inspire and to live. Dumb boy drama, friend drama, gossiping and ignorance excluded. So, I don't mean to dwell... will blog later. Below is the information on where to buy the pieces of clothes and accessories from my Polyvore.
Au revoir pour maintenant,
Glenda
