Nail of the Day: My Favorite Polish of All Timezz

The year of 2012 has commenced, and with the birth of this new year, I decided also to revive this long-dead blog. I'm excited! :) My first post, as you can see, is a nail of the day featuring one of, if not my absolute, favorite nail polish of all time. It's an unorthodox choice, probably, but it's an incredible one too. Hehe, without further ado, I present to you Orly's Velvet Rope.



Here, I have 3 coats on, though in two coats, full opacity is achieved. Over it, I have INM's Out the Door top coat which adds just a bit of shine. The next few pictures are so pretty to me and just highlight the smooth, glittery character of the polish. What. a. champ, this one.





Overall, though it's sparkly, it's not a pain to take off. The application is very smooth and makes for a fast nail polish job! As for the Orly brush, I love it. The rubber handle makes it easy to open up and the brush itself is long yet thin, creating even strokes that cover the surface of the nail effortlessly. I'm in love with this babe.
