I saw this dandy little tag on Ella's blogspot and really loved the questions. Have fun! I tag each of you. :)
1. What is your favorite item of clothing?
I really love jeans. Every type, too. White, dark, acid wash (yeah, I know. Tres 80's), skinny, bootcut, flared, boyfriend. They're all wonderful to me, really!
Balmain, btw. ^
2. What are your biggest obsessions?
I'm just gon' go right ahead and name ALL of them. Anderson Cooper, Cake Batter ice cream, Forever 21, Woodwinked eyeshadow from MAC, Viva Glam V lipglass, Big Brother, Trey Songz, Live with Regis & Kelly, The View, Nurse Jackie, True Blood, raspberry jam, airports, Manhattan, 100% fruit juice, Bradley Cooper, Big Brother, Weeds. Yeah.
3. Who inspires you?
I don't have very many inspirations, to tell you the truth. I sort of want to be myself, because I'm SO individualistic. I can honestly say every decision I make is for myself, and in my best interest. That's good in a way, but can also come back and bite me in the butt. It's vain, and selfish, too.
4. Who is your favorite designer and why?
I enjoy so many designers, that it would be ridiculous to now try and ramble on. I love Elie Tahari and Rebecca Taylor and Phillip Lim and Jay Godfrey and Elizabeth & James and Marc Jacobs and Zac Posen and Black Halo and Marchesa and Vera Wang and Herve Leger and Balmain and Derek Lam and Nanette Lepore and Lilly Pulitzer and ah. <3 The list don't end, sweetie. ;)
Elie Tahari ^
5. What is your favorite song ever?
Yes, as everyone says, I don't have a favorite. Truly, it changes every day. In fact, every hour. Insert winky face. I've been using him too much lately.
6. What is your favorite song right now?
Hands down, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus. Love that song! :) I don't care who you are, you MUST admit that the tune is catchy as hell.
7. If you were a sweetie, what would you be?
I would be a Sour Patch Kid. Y'know what? Not EVEN a Sour Patch Kid. I would be a RED Sour Patch Kid. Rojo, rouge. Yahurrd?!
Hahahahaha, I love this.
8. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet - what words would you use to describe your rainbow?
Sour Patch Kid, orange juice, sunshine, tree leaves, ocean, Crayola, orchid.
9. What's your favorite film?
Again, it's hard to say. Even though I love The Wrestler, Matilda, Lion King, Wristcutters, Thirteen, The Notebook, No Country For Old Men, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead, Boyz in the Hood, Doubt, etc, my favorite movies of all time are LIFETIME. Yep, I'm being serious. You really can't beat Lifetime. Ever.
10. Who's your favorite actor?
I honestly don't know. I don't have a preference, tbh.
11. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be?
I would be in a wartorn nation. <3 I would lovelovelove to be helping in an extreme situation. I know you don't have to go to that end of the spectrum, but I want to.
12. What are your 3 favorite smells?
Bath and Body Works eau de toilettes, gasoline (weird, I know), the atmosphere after it rains. Yum. Earthy, hahaha.
13. What are your 3 favorite tastes?
I love Top Chef Masters, and this season was no exception. Now, I've never had his food, but I'm one hundred percent that it would be beyond delicious. Do you know who I'm talking about? YES. Rick Bayless. Take me to the Frontera Grill. Somebody? I also love the taste of raspberry jam and I like the taste of Taco Bell. LOLOLOL! I just spoke of THE premiere chef of Mexican cuisine in America and in the next sentence, shamelessly uttered Taco Bell. I really do like Taco Bell. So much for my palette, right?
14. What is your most treasured possession?
My bible, for sure. ;)
15. What did you always want to do/be when you grew up?
Not to be tacky or cliche, because I know a lot of people think they have the greatest style and that they're oh, so fashionable. I wanted to be a fashion designer since I was about 6. Yeah, I still have the sketches to prove it, bitchezzz! Lolol, and I wanted to name my clothing line, 'Fields of Glamour' F.O.G, babby.
16. If you were an ice-cream, what flavor would you be?
Cake batter, fo sho.
17. If someone made a short film of your life, who would play you?
I don't want to be haughty or meek, so I'm not going to answer.
18. What would your perfect afternoon consist of?
Peach lemon iced tea, or Pinkberry, or a banana-choc Vivanno and a black Amex card in my hand. We're going shoppping, dearies. Hahaha, JK. Not really. :|
19. If you were a flower, what would you be?
An orchid! I think they're beautiful. <3 I'm not much of a flower gal, but I love orchids.
20. Tell me a random thing - a quote, a line from a song, book, movie...
I adore Sarah Dessen. I can't explain adequately what it is about her writing, but it has a calming effect. Peaceful, connected, raw, simple, never contrived. Just beautiful. Love love love. The first book of hers I read was 'The Truth About Forever'...she's never really disappointed. Ergo, this is a quote from one of my favorites, 'This Lullaby'
"This lullaby is only a few words, a simple run of chords, quiet here in this spare room, but you can hear it, hear it, wherever you may go, even if I let you down, this lullaby plays on..."
It's so pretty, I can't even explain it. I love it so much, ah. <3 You probably think I'm a freak. Well, YOU read one of her books and see if you don't have the same reaction. It's visceral, I can't help it. :)
I tag all of you, btw. I had fun. Loads.
